We are looking for an infrastructure and reliability engineer who already operates independently: someone who scripts confidently, runs systems rather than just stands them up, and wants to own a piece of the estate end to end. You do not need to be a software engineer. You do need to be fluent working alongside them. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own a workstream end to end — a CI/CD pipeline, an observability area, or an environment-build automation set — across its design, implementation and day-to-day running Write readable automation in Python, Bash or Go to remove toil and keep systems healthy Build and extend infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and diagnose broken environments to root cause from the signals available Work across the stack — cloud (AWS), orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), operating systems (Linux and Windows), and networking — and rotate across focus areas roughly every six months to build breadth Operate in both cloud-native and classified on-premises (Windows, Active Directory, VMware) environments, including air-gapped networks Apply secure-configuration baselines and security measures on your workstream within an established ISM/PSPF accreditation standard Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside software engineers, and help bring newer team members up to speed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Around five or more years running infrastructure, cloud operations, platform or Defence/MSP-infrastructure environments — demonstrated experience weighted over formal qualifications Confident scripting and automation in at least one of Python, Bash or Go, including handling error and edge cases without prompting Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform) in a production setting Solid breadth across most of the stack — cloud, operating systems, containers, CI/CD — and a strong understanding of networking in cloud and hybrid environments A track record of working independently and owning a piece of work through to running it Comfortable working across breadth and rotating focus areas, rather than staying in a single tool Australian citizen, able to obtain and maintain an Australian NV2 security clearance (existing NV2 or equivalent preferred) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Kubernetes in production, and with one or more cloud platforms beyond AWS Experience in highly regulated environments (Defence or other Critical Infrastructure), including exposure to ISM/PSPF accreditation Experience with classified or air-gapped on-premises infrastructure (Windows, Active Directory, VMware) Software-engineering depth — for example production service development in Go, Rust or similar — is welcomed and can open additional, more software-heavy reliability roles, but is not required and is never a screen for this role The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. You will build and maintain the secure automation infrastructure that powers our radar tracking deployments, create testing and analysis tools to support tactical software, and accelerate developer workflows. ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for a experienced PLM Software Engineer with strong Teamcenter expertise to join the ArsenalOS PLM team. As a PLM Software Engineer on ArsenalOS, you will be architecting and implementing mission-critical Teamcenter customizations, integrations, and solutions that enable engineering teams to design, manage, and deliver complex hardware products at scale. This is not a traditional "maintain legacy PLM" role. We want builders. As a member of ArsenalOS PLM, you will help architect and develop next-generation Engineering Backbone from the ground up — integrating CAD, ERP, MES, manufacturing, and engineering systems into scalable modern platforms. You'll be developing custom ITK services, SOA integrations, Active Workspace customizations, and enterprise integrations that serve engineering teams across multiple product lines.
