What You Will Contribute: The Engineer I, Firmware will support Badger Meter’s continued growth and alignment amongst product families. The Engineer I contributes to aspects of embedded systems regarding firmware development and product performance testing. The Engineer I assists projects involving new product development and maintaining existing products in the production environment while gaining product knowledge. QUALIFICATIONS: No previous experience required Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or CS/Software/Firmware Engineering. Basic working design knowledge of embedded microcontroller/microprocessor firmware (C, C++, etc.) Familiarly with revision control systems (Git or SVN) Basic understanding of digital circuit design and troubleshooting. What You Will Contribute: The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting scalable software solutions that power Badger Meter's connected products and digital platforms.
