Quality Assurance and Control Engineers lead efforts to maintain and improve product quality while proactively resolving quality-related issues through customer interaction and internal collaboration. Working alongside domestic and overseas customers as well as Pall’s international teams, they are responsible for driving quality improvements in accordance with global standards. This position reports to the Site Quality Assurance and Control Manager and is part of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control department at the Tsukuba Plant. The work location is Ami Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, and the work arrangement is onsite. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Quality Control (QC) • Execution and standardization of in-process, receiving, and shipping inspections • Handling non-conformities (root cause analysis, leading MRB/DRB activities) • Promoting process audits and QC patrols • Managing quality KPIs (defect rates, customer complaints, etc.) • *Primarily involves collaboration and cooperation with internal manufacturing teams. Quality Assurance (QA) • Analyzing customer complaints and implementing corrective actions (e.g., 8D methodology) • Preparing and presenting reports to customers • Maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS/ISO) • *Primarily involves collaboration and cooperation with customers, Sales, and CQEs (Customer Quality Engineers). Improvement & Data Analysis • Implementing and utilizing SPC (Statistical Process Control) • Managing measurement systems • Participating in quality and productivity improvement projects • We are looking for someone who: maintains a positive mindset; is proactive in continuous learning; takes personal ownership of improvements rather than blaming others; communicates smoothly with internal and external stakeholders to achieve team results; actively acquires new knowledge (e.g., quality standards, English); and is committed to continuous professional growth.
