Job Description What is the opportunity? The SRE will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and support of Site Reliability Engineering solutions for all applications across a line of business within CNB (City National Bank), an RBC company. This team will work collaboratively with teams across several LoBs and other T&O partners as a requirement to succeed in its mandate. The incumbent will need advanced knowledge and experience working in an application SRE development and technology operations organization. They should be able to take on a production support role and part with the SRE Innovation team in incident and problem management. What will you do? Must-have: Typically requires 2+ years of related experience in Operations Engineering platforms (SRE, DevOps, Cloud, Data) with a keen focus on AI integration to reduce toil Advanced knowledge of industry practice (Financial Institution) with a focus on SRE. Advanced experience in a variety of environments (Linux, Windows, Databases, Cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows, and Services/APIs). Able to automate simple tasks to reduce the toil, and increase operating system efficiency. Hands-on experience in a variety of SRE languages and tools (Ansible, Dynatrace, Moogsoft, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, Blue Prism, Catch Point, Grafana) Effective negotiation skills, and stakeholder management.
