We are seeking a Senior Benchmarking Engineer to establish and lead our benchmarking and competitive analysis program in Austin. This role will drive interface benchmarking as well as comprehensive solution-level benchmarking covering industrial networking, latency, bandwidth, graphics performance, and AI workloads. The insights generated by this role will directly inform product positioning, roadmap decisions, and customer engagements against competing silicon solutions. An experienced Staff Application Engineer specializing in High Voltage (650V/700V) GaN power devices and power conversion applications . Responsible for supporting customer designs, developing reference solutions, validating products, and driving application adoption of Renesas High Voltage GaN solutions across industrial, infrastructure, server power, UPS, solar, and EV power applications in Taiwan. Application Development & Customer Support Support customer design-in activities for High Voltage GaN products. Provide application-level support for: AC-DC power supplies Totem-Pole PFC LLC converters DC-DC converters UPS systems Solar inverters Server and industrial power systems Review customer schematics, layouts, and power architectures . Reference Design Development Develop and validate High Voltage GaN evaluation boards and reference designs. Perform efficiency, thermal, EMI, and performance optimization. Generate application data to support customer adoption. Product Validation Work with Product Engineering teams to execute validation plans. Characterize switching performance, thermal behavior, gate driving, and system performance. Support root-cause analysis of customer and field issues. Technical Customer Engagement Support key customers in Taiwan throughout design, prototype, validation, and production phases. Troubleshoot application issues and provide recommendations for design optimization. Deliver customer demonstrations, training, and technical presentations. Technical Documentation Develop: Application Notes Design Guides Technical Presentations Evaluation Reports Reference Design Documentation Contribute technical content supporting sales and marketing activities. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, FAEs, Product Engineering, and R&D teams. Looking for an experienced engineer which Roles and Responsibilities: (1) System / design architecture Development of middleware frameworks, and understand about device drivers for ADAS/AD, Gateway, Cockpit/IVI that bring out the potential of Renesas SoC products. (2) Requirements definition of middleware and drivers. (3) Development of demo of developed software. Essential Functions: Experienced in aspects of Software Design/Development/Verification/Validation from module level to full system with a demonstrated history in driving design innovation and best practices, such as, task/job scheduling with prioritization, dependencies, pairing in embedded system, multi-process, multi-core, multi-device operation and communication, OS IPC, memory resource management (e.g SMMU/IOMMU) and and FFI concept (freedom from interference) in embedded system. Experienced in Linux, Android, QNX, FreeRTOS SW development and familiar with standard frameworks, such as, Linux/V4L2/libcamera/GStreamer, Android/VideoCamera, QNX/Sensor Camera framework. Strong knowledge of Video input and output pipeline, such as, Camera input standard (MIPI-CSI2, Serializer/Deserializer), Image processing. Experience working with cross-platform embedded systems (e.g., QNX, Linux, FreeRTOS, Android) Experienced in SW development process: ISO26262, Automotive SPICE, CMMI, Agile/Scrum. Should have the ability to work independently with little supervision to design complex SW and take complete ownership to drive all aspects within the committed schedule. Proficient in architecture, unit level design and implementation. The Quality Assurance Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring that daily quality control & inspection operations are meeting required quality standards and production demand. This role involves monitoring incoming, in‑process and outgoing quality, managing supervisory and inspector teams, supporting audits, driving continuous improvement to enhance operation efficiency, ensures that products meet all quality and quantity requirements. Key Responsibilities Support the Head of Department (HOD) in managing daily Quality Assurance operations, ensuring effective execution of departmental objectives, resource allocation, and timely decision-making. Lead and promote a strong quality culture across manufacturing and supporting functions, driving quality awareness throughout the organization. Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements. Manage customer quality requirements, including customer audits, quality documentation, change management activities, technical discussions, and issue resolution. Ensure compliance with applicable quality management system requirements and industry standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and customer-specific requirements.
