About Tessera Labs Tessera Labs is redefining how enterprises adop and operationalize Artificial Intelligence. Backed by Foundation and with a recent $60M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), we build multi-agent AI Systems that automate complex business workflows across platforms like SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, Databricks and more. Our mission: bring real AI automation to the enterprise - with speed and precision and measurable impact. We move fast, operate with extreme ownership, and build at the frontier of applied AI. About the role We're hiring a Full Stack Software Engineering Intern to help build Tessera Mosaic, where AI agents work alongside people to transform how enterprises operate. You'll help drive product problems end to end, from interfaces for understanding and controlling agents to the data and backend systems that power them. You'll work closely with product and design, with real ownership over what we build and how we build it. If you enjoy turning ambiguous problems into polished products, you can have an outsized impact on a platform that's still early. You can lean toward frontend or backend depending on your preference, or do both. What you'll do Build product features in React and TypeScript on the frontend and/or Python on the backend, including APIs, data models, and services. Take problems from a rough starting point to shipped: figure out what's actually being asked, dig into the data and code, propose an approach, and build it. Build the tools that make AI agents understandable and controllable for the people using them: seeing what an agent is doing, reviewing its work, and stepping in when needed. Work with data from systems like SAP, Salesforce, and Oracle, including their complex data models and real-world edge cases. Partner with product and design to question assumptions, shape solutions, get feedback early, and iterate. What we're looking for Strong product sense. You think about the people using what you build and have ideas about how to make it better, whether you're working on the frontend or the backend. Experience building software, through class projects, side projects, or a previous internship. Any language is fine. You learn quickly and can make progress on a problem without being told exactly what to do. We care far more about how fast you're growing than where you're starting. Some comfort with data, like SQL and how tables relate to each other, and a willingness to learn whatever a feature needs, from the database to the UI. You explain your thinking clearly and ask questions early. Proactively ask for help when blocked and communicate openly about challenges. Nice to have You've built something with LLMs or agents. Familiarity with React, TypeScript, or Python, which make up most of our stack. Location: San Jose, CA, New York or Remote (U.S.) Duration: 10–12 weeks Hours: Up to 40 hours per week Start Date: Fall 2026/Spring 2027/Summer 2027 (flexible) Tessera Labs is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and experiences. No third party may recruit, solicit candidates, publish job opportunities, use Tessera Labs’ name or branding, or represent that they are acting on behalf of Tessera Labs without prior written authorization. Senior QA Engineer The Role We're hiring a Senior QA Engineer to own testing across our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This is a strategy-and-automation role, not a click-testing one: you'll own the test strategy, write the test cases, and automate them on top of established open-source testing tools — working shoulder-to-shoulder with developers to bake quality in from the start rather than catch it at the end. This role partners closely with product and platform engineering. What You'll Do Own the test strategy end-to-end across the SDLC. Build and own test coverage on top of established open-source testing tools — defining the strategy, writing the test cases, and automating them — and integrate it into our Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines so tests run on every meaningful change. Write clear, maintainable test cases and test plans, and keep them current as the product evolves. Plan and run the full range of testing — including but not limited to integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and stress / load / performance testing. Partner with developers to define acceptance criteria, shift testing left, and make quality a shared responsibility rather than a gate at the end. Triage failures, drive root-cause analysis on escaped defects, and close the loop with durable fixes. Report quality signals (coverage, flake rate, escaped defects) in a way the team can act on. What You'll Need (Required) Strong test automation skills, with a track record of designing test strategy and automating it on top of established open-source testing tools. Deep, practical understanding of the SDLC and where testing fits at each stage. Proven experience writing test cases and test plans. Hands-on experience across multiple testing types: integration, system, regression, and stress / performance. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication skills — you work directly with developers and can make a clear, persuasive case for quality. Sufficient experience with Python, JS/TS Nice to Have Strong experience with Python, JS/TS Familiarity with open-source testing tools (for example, Playwright or Cypress for end-to-end, pytest for unit and integration, k6 or Locust for load and stress testing). Exposure to testing cloud or containerized (Kubernetes) workloads. Experience supporting a System and Organization Controls 2 (SOC 2) or similar compliance program by producing test evidence. Background in enterprise or regulated environments where reliability is non-negotiable. Experience in early-stage environments where one person owns a broad testing surface. What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) You've assessed current test coverage and identified the highest-leverage gaps. Automated test coverage is running in the pipeline on every meaningful change. The team has a clear, lightweight process for triaging failures and preventing repeat defects. Location and Work Model Remote in South America/Mexico/India/LATAM
