The Staff Security Engineer will identify security risks within our IoT device ecosystem, communicate those risks to management, and assist with the mitigation efforts. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of embedded software development with strong C/C++ proficiency on Linux-based platforms. Deep expertise in Linux platform build toolchains (Yocto, buildroot, OpenWRT, or Android AOSP), including cross-compilation, kernel configuration, and BSP development. Experience with embedded connectivity technologies such as cellular (LTE, Cat-M, 5G), Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and IoT protocols including Z-Wave, Zigbee, and Matter. Demonstrated ability to lead product-level architecture decisions, decompose complex system problems, and coordinate multi-project technical delivery.
