As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. ABOUT THE TEAM Anduril's Electronic Warfare (EW) division builds next-generation electronic warfare platforms — hardware-enabled, software-defined systems that are fielded, operational, and scaling fast. The EW team operates at a tempo the defense industry isn't used to: delivering novel system configurations into active operations in days, not months, securing major contract awards in under 24 hours, and earning unanimous fielding recommendations from government evaluators. Production is scaling from hundreds to thousands of units across multiple product variants, and the release and delivery challenges are scaling with it. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Software Product Manager to own what ships to the operator. EW Mission Applications builds the software between the device and the operator — operator applications, Lattice integrations, shared visualization components, and the internal tooling that the rest of the business line runs on. You will own the roadmap for that surface: which capabilities reach operators, through which channel, and in what order. EW Mission Applications delivers through multiple channels: each channel has different users, different timelines, and a different definition of done. Teams are organized by product surface rather than by program, so every engineering team supports several programs at once. Every program in the business line wants something from those teams. You decide what gets built, you write down why, and you hold that line when program pressure arrives — which it will, constantly, and for good reasons. This role is product-focused and technically grounded. You won't write production code day to day, but you need to understand the device SDK boundary, the client architecture, and the integration surface well enough to tell a real blocker from a preference, to write requirements engineering can build against, and to negotiate scope with embedded engineering on the merits. Software Product Manager - Factory Systems

On-sitefull timeMid-LevelCalifornia, United States
Apply Now

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. ABOUT THE JOB: The Software Product Manager for ArsenalOS will own multiple Factory-touching platforms: software that enables stakeholders such as production managers, manufacturing engineers across disciplines, and automation and controls engineers to map the physical world to a digital one (its locations, work centers, stationed tools, assets, and more) and to execute workflows at the speed we require. These platforms sit within ArsenalOS Connected Factory and will start by unifying how locations, work centers, tools, and assets are modeled across the warehouse management system (WMS), manufacturing execution system (MES), and asset management system (AMS), along with multiple different types of sensor systems, into a seamless operating environment, replacing manual processes with purpose-built systems designed for how Anduril actually builds. You will build this product from the ground up, from vision through MVP to scaled adoption. You must be able to zoom all the way in to improve how a single user stands up a station or commissions a smart tool, sensor, tester, controller, etc., and zoom all the way out to design the systems, data models, and integrations that connect all manufacturing systems. At Anduril's build rate, every gap between the digital model of the line and its physical reality is where production quietly slows down, and closing that gap is the whole job. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for the Forge Factory, with a clear point of view on the what, why, and why now. Build Forge Factory from the ground up: define the vision, scope the MVP, ship it, and iterate based on real user feedback and business outcomes. Partner with manufacturing, reliability, and product operations to define and deliver the software that connects their workflows into one coherent operating environment. Define the integration strategy between manufacturing systems and adjacent platforms (MES, ERP, AMS & WMS), ensuring the right data flows to the right people at the right time. Leverage AI and modern tooling to accelerate product development, from prototyping and requirements generation to building intelligent workflows that surface insights and reduce manual decision-making. Establish metrics and feedback loops that tie product work to measurable business outcomes, e.g., time to stand up or reconfigure a production line, line changeover time, asset uptime and utilization, and reduction in manual reconciliation between Forge and the ERP. Own prioritization, scope, tradeoff decisions, release planning, and execution quality across a cross-functional engineering team. Drive adoption so business teams and external partners actually use what you build, and spend less time fighting software and more time ensuring hardware excellence. Work in the open: document decisions, communicate roadmap and tradeoffs clearly, and create durable artifacts that align stakeholders and accelerate execution. REQUIRED QULIFICATIONS 4 - 7+ years of experience in product management building enterprise platforms with high complexity, multiple stakeholders, and cross-organizational dependencies. Strong domain knowledge in complex operational environments where many different personas with distinct roles and requirements must be orchestrated. Experience building net-new products, taking a product from vision through MVP to scaled adoption. Experience building or managing B2B platforms where multiple organizations interact through shared workflows and data exchange. Experience defining and shipping software that integrates with adjacent enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, AMS, WMS or internal data platforms. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI/ML and modern tooling to accelerate product development, from rapid prototyping to intelligent product features. You've owned a product end-to-end and can point to the business outcome it drove, not just that it shipped, but what it changed. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to operators, engineers, business leaders, and executive stakeholders. U.S. Person status is required, as this position may need access to export-controlled data. Ability to work in-office full time and willingness to travel to operational sites as needed PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, defense, Automation, Auto industry or other high-complexity physical product environments. Experience with multi-tenant platforms, and systems that serve internal users with differing access and workflow requirements. Comfortable producing mockups, wireframes, or interactive prototypes rapidly, whether through design tools, AI-assisted generation, or code. US Salary Range $146,000 — $219,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Release Manager to own the end-to-end software release process for EW products. This is a critical role at the intersection of engineering, test, operations, and the customer. You will be the person who ensures that the right software ships to the right systems at the right time, with the confidence that it works.EW systems are software-defined and rapidly evolving. The release landscape includes multiple hardware platforms, multiple product variants, and customers who are operating in contested environments where reliability is non-negotiable. You'll need to balance the pressure to ship fast with the discipline to ship correctly — managing release cadences, coordinating across engineering teams, driving quality gates, and communicating clearly to stakeholders at every level. This role is process-focused but technically grounded. You won't be writing production code day-to-day, but you need to understand the build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and test infrastructure well enough to diagnose issues, drive improvements, and hold engineering teams accountable to release standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO : Own and execute the software release process for EW products across multiple hardware platforms and product variants Define and manage release plans aligned with program milestones, customer commitments, and operational timelines Coordinate across embedded software, mission software, test, and operations teams to drive releases from branch cut through validation to field deployment Manage release artifacts including build packages, release notes, known issues, and supporting documentation for internal and customer consumption Clearly communicate release status, timelines, risks, and blockers to stakeholders at all levels — from engineers to program leadership to customers Drive continuous improvement of release processes, quality gates, and automation to increase release velocity and confidence Coordinate the deployment of development and candidate releases to test and evaluation teams for validation Work with QA and test teams to ensure adequate test coverage before release, including tracking test results and managing go/no-go decisions Manage and improve the CI/CD environment in collaboration with engineering — understanding build pipelines, automated test suites, and deployment tooling well enough to identify bottlenecks and drive fixes Support configuration management and traceability for deployed software across the fleet Travel up to 25% to support integration events, deployments, and customer engagements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of experience in release management, release engineering, or a related technical program management role Experience owning a software release process for products with multiple hardware and software variants Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and version control (Git, GitHub, CircleCI, or equivalent) Ability to read and navigate codebases: you don't need to write production code, but you need to understand what's changing in a release and why Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, test, operations) through structured release processes Strong written and verbal communication skills: you'll be coordinating release documentation, running go/no-go meetings, and briefing stakeholders Experience with Linux-based development and deployment environments Familiarity with the DoD software ecosystem: SDLC practices, DevSecOps, continuous ATO, or similar compliance frameworks Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance Willingness to travel up to 25% PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Nix/NixOS for deterministic builds and configuration management Experience with release processes for safety-critical or mission-critical systems (MIL-STD-882 or equivalent) Familiarity with Haskell, Rust, or C++ build ecosystems Experience with edge deployments where systems operate disconnected or in degraded network environments Experience implementing or managing software-in-the-loop (SITL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) test environments Proficiency in scripting for automation and tooling Experience with configuration management and software traceability across a deployed fleet Prior experience in defense technology, electronic warfare, or RF systems Experience scaling release processes during rapid production ramp-ups US Salary Range $166,000 — $220,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
