Requirements: 3+ years of embedded software development experience using C or C++; Strong understanding of Linux internals, including processes, memory management, networking, netlink, and event-driven I/O; Strong knowledge of Ethernet switching and networking fundamentals, including Layer 2, Layer 3, VLANs, bridging, multicast, and routing; Experience developing Linux-based firmware, platform services, system daemons, or networking applications; Experience with Git, Bash, cross-compilation, toolchains, and embedded build systems such as OpenWrt, Buildroot, or Linux From Scratch. Experience with AI tools - Claude, Codex, etc; Fluent in English and Lithuanian. Nice to have: Experience with routing software such as FRRouting or Quagga; Understanding of data-plane processing, hardware offloading, packet pipelines, and performance optimization; Experience with Broadcom SDKs, Intel/Barefoot Tofino, P4, or comparable switching silicon and frameworks; Experience developing data-center, enterprise, or carrier-grade Ethernet switches; Experience with BSP development, Linux device drivers, bootloaders, or hardware abstraction layers; Ability to contribute to system and software architecture across multiple product areas.
