About the Role We are actively looking for an experienced front-end engineer to join our Web Platform team. As a vital member of the team, you will be the architect, designer, and developer across a broad range of high-impact projects. Education and Experience 4+ years of relevant industry experience in front-end or platform web development. Expertise working with modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, Webpack, Vite, etc. Proven track record of building complex single-page applications (SPAs) and hands-on experience designing or implementing microfrontend architectures . Infrastructure knowledge: Experience configuring, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI). About the Team As a member of the Alarms engineering team, you will be responsible for building compelling user experiences for one of Verkada’s major new product categories. What You'll Do Work cross-functionally with hardware team to develop camera features in C++ and Python. Lead code reviews, debugging, and bug fixes. Experiment/test with new development boards. What You'll Do Own the end-to-end development of on-device camera platform features in C++ and Golang . About the Role We are looking for a seasoned Systems level Linux engineer / Linux internals expert to help us build our next generation of command connector product that turns any legacy camera into a cloud-native, AI-searchable node. Under the hood, it's managing dozens of concurrent video streams, translating disparate camera protocols into a single unified pipeline, and feeding all of it into CV models / inference run at the edge of the device itself.
