Cost Innovation & Local Sourcing Cost Innovation Design: Champion "Design-to-Cost" (DTC) and Value Engineering initiatives on existing product lines to reduce material and manufacturing costs. Supply Localization Support: Act as the technical partner to the localized purchasing/procurement teams. Support local vendor qualification when needed, review technical capabilities, and validate raw material or component substitutions without compromising quality and safety. Education Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent. Experience and Know-how 8+ years of total experience in mechanical design or engineering within the mechanical conveyance or heavy industrial machinery industries. 3+ years in a leadership, technical project lead, or supervisory role within engineering. Extensive background in Sustaining Engineering and Design-to-Cost (DTC) /Value Engineering. Proficiency in 3D CAD platforms (e.g., Creo/SolidWorks) and PDM/PLM database management (e.g., Windchill/SAP). Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication, assembly lines, metal casting, and tooling. Main Responsibilities 1. Security Architecture & Engineering Design and implement end-to-end security features for embedded platforms, including: Secure Boot, Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), Secure storage, Secure update mechanisms, Secure communication, etc... Contribute to security architecture definition for embedded and connected systems. 2. Threat Modeling & Reviews Perform security architecture reviews and threat modeling for infotainment, ADAS, IoT, or connected device platforms. Identify risks, define mitigation strategies, and drive security improvements early in the development lifecycle. 3. Security Implementation & Hardening Implement security hardening for Linux / Android / QNX systems. Conduct secure code reviews and collaborate with development teams to address vulnerabilities. Support integration of access control and system hardening mechanisms (e.g. SELinux, AppArmor). 4. Testing & Validation Perform security testing and validation , including: Static and dynamic analysis, Fuzzing, Penetration testing Validate security features on real hardware and production-like environments. 5. Process & Compliance Develop and maintain security requirements and security engineering processes (SEP) . Support compliance with relevant security standards and best practices . Mandatory Qualifications Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cryptography , or a related technical field 7-15 years of overall experience, with at least 2-5 years of experience in embedded software development, system software, or security engineering (backgrounds from Automotive, IoT, Mobile Devices, Consumer Electronics are all welcome) Practical experience with Linux and/or Android platforms , particularly in BSP, middleware, system services, or other low-level system components . Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals , including cryptography, secure communication protocols, secure coding practices, and security testing principles . Hands-on experience implementing or supporting embedded system security features , such as secure boot, system trust mechanisms, secure storage, secure update/OTA, and secure communication between components or devices . The candidate will be involved in the development of diagnostic software solutions for modern vehicles, working with standard automotive diagnostic protocols and performing validation directly on test vehicles. This role requires a solid foundation in automotive engineering, hands-on testing capabilities, and flexibility to travel internationally. Main responsibilities Mapping of ESI standard texts to OEM texts for the Automotive Aftersales & Aftermarket diagnostic tester software. Requirement specification for Automotive Aftersales & Aftermarket diagnostic tester software. End to end diagnostic content creation for all automotive systems e.g., engine management, electric & hybrid systems, brake control, infotainment, ADAS, transmission, HVAC, airbags etc. Analysis of vehicle communication bus logs using various analyzers. Simulation of automotive systems using simulator solutions and in conjunction with OE testers. Design & creation of workflow or test sequences in Bosch standard tools Evaluation of OE diagnostic data, derivation of useful insights and implementing the same in target tester. On-vehicle validation of implemented diagnostic content and creation of test reports. Benchmarking and reverse engineering of aftersales & aftermarket diagnostic testers. Coverage evaluation of aftermarket tester by performing tests on various vehicle brands and systems, in various markets & create test reports. Thorough review the deliverables and provide recommendations. Continuous learning and self-development. Closely interact with software engineering team and technical experts from global teams. Mandatory Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering Strong vehicle system knowledge, including the sub-systems and components. Must have proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle and make it roadworthy. Ability to understand OE system description, service & repair manuals. Ability to handle diagnostic testers like VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT, SDT-II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G-Scan, Zenith etc. Good knowledge on wiring diagrams and conventions. Good knowledge of Bosch Aftermarket Diagnostic Tool - ESI [tronic]. Sound knowledge on CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939.
