The Thermofluids Systems Engineer is responsible for designing and analysis of gas turbine air, oil, fuel, and thermal management systems along with component and/or subsystem thermal analysis. The role supports the entire product lifecycle from concept generation and evaluation to in-service support. What you’ll be doing: Performing detailed fluid flow analyses of gas turbine engine systems, subsystems, and components using 1-D network analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Performing heat transfer analyses of gas turbine engine subsystems and components using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools Applying systems engineering concepts to define whole engine fluid systems and support resolution of system-level issues. This will include working together with other engineers in Thermofluids, Engine Performance, Controls, Installations, Turbines, Compressors, Combustion, and Power Transmission Systems Providing technical support to product design and support teams.
